केरल के मुख्यमंत्री पिनराई विजयन ने हाल ही में वायनाड जिले में हुए भूस्खलन के बारे में केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह के दावों को नकार दिया है। शाह ने कहा था कि केरल सरकार को एक सप्ताह पहले मौसम की चेतावनी दी गई थी, जबकि विजयन ने इसका खंडन करते हुए कहा कि भारतीय मौसम विभाग (आईएमडी) ने केवल नारंगी अलर्ट जारी किया था। नारंगी अलर्ट का मतलब है कि बारिश 6 से 20 सेंटीमीटर के बीच हो सकती है, लेकिन संकट के समय लाल अलर्ट जोकि 24 घंटों में 20 सेंटीमीटर से अधिक बारिश का संकेत देता है, तब तक जारी नहीं किया गया था जब तक भूस्खलन हो नहीं गया।

भूस्खलन से पहले की स्थिति

विजयन ने स्पष्ट किया कि 30 जुलाई को जब वायनाड में भूस्खलन हुआ, तब पहले से कोई लाल अलर्ट जारी नहीं किया गया था। उनका कहना है कि आईएमडी की प्रारंभिक चेतावनियां इतनी पर्याप्त नहीं थीं कि इनमें मौसम की गंभीरता का सही पूर्वानुमान लगाया जा सके। करीब 500 मिमी की बारिश ने क्षेत्र को ध्वस्त कर दिया और भूस्खलन का कारण बनी।

राहत और बचाव कार्य में प्रयास

मुख्यमंत्री ने बताया कि भूस्खलन के तुरंत बाद राहत और बचाव कार्य प्रारंभ कर दिए गए थे। अब तक 1,592 लोगों को बचाया जा चुका है और 82 राहत शिविर बनाए गए हैं, जिनमें 2,017 लोग ठहरे हुए हैं। अतिरिक्त सैन्य कर्मियों और हेलीकॉप्टरों को भी बचाव कार्य में सहयोग के लिए तैनात किया गया है।

लोगों की महत्वकांक्षा

विजयन ने कहा कि राहत के कार्यों में और भी तेजी लाई जाएगी, साथ ही उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि जिन आदिवासी परिवारों को स्थानांतरित किया जा रहा है, उन्हें काफी सहायता मुहैया कराई जा रही है। इसी के साथ, जो लोग स्थानांतरित नहीं होना चाहते, उन्हें भी आवश्यक खाद्य सामग्री की आपूर्ति की जा रही है।

राजनीतिक आरोप-प्रत्यारोप से बचने की अपील

मुख्यमंत्री पिनराई विजयन ने इस दौरान जोर दिया कि यह समय राजनीतिक आरोप-प्रत्यारोप का नहीं है, बल्कि सही सलाह और स्थानिक उपायों का है। उन्होंने कहा कि केंद्र सरकार पूरी तरह से केरल सरकार और लोगों की मदद के लिए तत्पर है। अमित शाह ने भी भरोसा दिलाया कि केंद्र सरकार केरल के लोगों और राज्य सरकार को समर्थन देने के लिए तत्पर है।

यह कहना सही होगा कि मौसम की सही भविष्यवाणी और त्वरित कार्रवाई की अत्यधिक आवश्यकता होती है। इस संदर्भ में केरल के मुख्यमंत्री पिनराई विजयन का ध्यान इस ओर है कि तत्काल समाधान खोजे जाएं और भविष्य में ऐसी आपदाओं से बचा जा सके। उनके इस प्रासंगिक टिप्पणी से यह साफ हो गया है कि मौसम आधारित आपदाओं के पूर्वानुमान में और भी सुधार की आवश्यकता है।

ये लाल अलर्ट न जारी होना तो बड़ी बात है! 🤦‍♀️ आईएमडी के पास डेटा है, एल्गोरिदम है, लेकिन फिर भी नारंगी अलर्ट पर ही रुक जाना? ये तो बस बेकार की बातचीत है। अगर बारिश 500mm हो रही है, तो लाल अलर्ट निकालना तो सिर्फ बुद्धिमानी का काम है, न कि ब्यूरोक्रेसी का। 🚨💔

केरल सरकार का ये ढंग देखो! अब तो बारिश के लिए भी राजनीति करने लगे हैं। जब केंद्र ने चेतावनी दी, तो उनकी बात नहीं मानी। अब जब बर्बरता हुई, तो शाह जी को गलत बता रहे हैं। ये राज्य तो अपनी ज़िम्मेदारी छिपाने के लिए भी तैयार हैं। भारत के लिए ये बदनामी है।

yeh jo IMD ki forecasting ki baat hai... ye sirf technology ki problem nahi hai... human judgment ka bhi hissa hai. agar ek 500mm rainfall ki possibility hai toh red alert hona chahiye tha... aur agar nahi hua, toh system ko review karna chahiye... naki blame game karna.

Red alert ka matlab hota hai: stay indoors. Green alert ka matlab: be careful. Orange: prepare. But when you get 500mm rain, and you only gave orange... that's not a technical failure. That's a moral one.
